Reaping The Demographic Dividend
It is widely believed that countries like India and China have a great demographic dividend which could help propel them further and faster than most of the developed world countries today. Particularly in the case of India, it is estimated that by 2025, India will have the largest young population in the world. However, this will depend curcially on its ability to build adequate infrastructure and to train its people. Without these efforts, this anticipated demographic dividend could well turn into a demographic disaster.
